WHAT IS BEYUNIQUE?

BEYUNIQUE is an ethos of life founded by Lucy Yun. Since she was very young, she has been non-stop searching her soul. Her never-ending journeys continued from personality tests to travelling throughout Europe, Asia, Oceania and North America. One thing was very clear- she always yearned to be herself; not to be swayed by mega trends, brainwashed by mass media, or influenced by celebrities. When she moved to Vancouver in 2010, she created BEYUNIQUE, which means to be YUN (herself) and to BE UNIQUE. A decade has flown by, BEYUNIQUE still stands as a place for Lucy's self-expressionism.

It's -4℃ in Vancouver; wind-chilling from the Pacific ocean and raining as the typical winter gets. And I am writing this blog post as dreaming of warm, fuzzy and breezy feeling of Spring. Not only am I still into wearing head-to-toe white looks as I have written last September, In the Mood for All White, but also adding some pastel tones to my outfits. Baby Blue and Baby Pink are two dominant colour palettes that have been captivating my eyes. It's true, Spring is all about wearing pastel-ly colours with a bit of floral prints, but I would keep my look as minimal as incorporating these two colours with boyfriend jeans. I will dress it up with pointed-toe heels or down with classic brogue as shown. How would you rock your Spring looks? 

[Event] Gastown Shop Hop 2013 Recap

Gastown Shop Hop is a bi-annual event that many boutiques and restaurants in Gastown join the force to provide a fun, entertaining yet enjoyable shopping/dining experience to its customers and tourists.  You can find a boutique shop with some Hors d'oeuvres and champagne or wine for you to enjoy while you shop during this event.  Most of participating boutique stores offer discounts that you don't want to walk away empty-handed. Furthermore, the event has been evolved even better as lots of restaurants joined to offer more to do after shopping.  Now Gastown Shop Hop is a well-known event that you can shop, eat and drink.  It is all about sharing the fun together in the community.
