Welcome to BEYUNIQUE

BEYUNIQUE IS AN ETHOS OF LIFE, FOUNDED BY LUCY YUN IN 2010. IT IS NOT DERIVED FROM BEY-ONCE, BUT IS CREATED FROM LUCY'S LAST NAME, YUN, COMBINED WITH HER MOTTO OF LIFE TO BE UNIQUE.

About

WHAT IS BEYUNIQUE?

BEYUNIQUE is an ethos of life founded by Lucy Yun. Since she was very young, she has been non-stop searching her soul. Her never-ending journeys continued from personality tests to travelling throughout Europe, Asia, Oceania and North America. One thing was very clear- she always yearned to be herself; not to be swayed by mega trends, brainwashed by mass media, or influenced by celebrities. When she moved to Vancouver in 2010, she created BEYUNIQUE, which means to be YUN (herself) and to BE UNIQUE. A decade has flown by, BEYUNIQUE still stands as a place for Lucy's self-expressionism.

Lucy is fantastic to work with - she is a visionary who is full of creative ideas and a quick mind (and hands) to get the work done in a timely fashion! We loved her so much as our graphic designer on a project that offered her to work work with us in-house as a Creative and Marketing Lead. We would highly recommend Lucy for her gorgeous design sense, efficiency, and professionalism. Did I mention she is super fun and sweet too?! Thank you Lucy for bringing our creative projects to fruition.

New In: Leopard Flat

As you probably can guess from my banner, Purple Leopard Crescent, I am a huge fan of leopard pattern. I must confess that I am quite obsessed with it. This calf-skin leopard flat has newly been added to my leopard collection. Thanks to this ugliest weather in Vancouver, I can still put them on at the end of June. Though I am dying for weather that I can only be wearing sandals and flip-flops. C'mon Vancouver, give us some consecutive sunny days!

Push Botton

Push Button represents trendy yet provocative style with unconventional, creative and flamboyant clothes. It is definitely one of a few brands which can be recognized with distinctive and outstanding representation of its identity.

Minhee Kim

My favorite model of 90's, Minhee Kim knows how to rock her style! As you all may know, the first thing to consider when you decide what to wear is Time, Place and Occasion. Her pastel pink blouse tucked in cutout cobalt blue pant at Donggun Jang and Soyoung Ko's wedding ceremony is perfect example for the basic rule of fashion.

Pier 64

Although Vancouver's weather this year has been awful, we are randomly getting some beautiful weathers on weekends(thank lord). Two weeks ago, my bf and I got invited to a Kung Fu Panda 2 screening for free which was awwwwwwesome! In fact, I didn't carry high anticipation since I've always disappointed every time I watch sequels. But Kung Fu Panda 2 was a rare exception. Also we went to White Rock and enjoyed this beautiful weather. Thanks to last Friday's retail therapy, I put see-through lace top, chiffon midi-skirt and genuine leather belt twisted on top as holding MAC Clutch from Rebecca Minkoff. Hope Vancouver weather lasts as nice as this day.
