Thank you everyone who came and made my night memorable. It was wonderful seeing you all there, sharing food, drinks and great conversations. Here's a toast to another great year! I wish you all happy holidays! Xo, Lucy
I have been wanting to host a small, intimate and private get-together with some of my favourite people I've met through Instagram for a while, and it came true like a dream last night. I was fortunate to be co-hosting the event with the talented and lovely duo @foodgays at Fairmont Pacific Rim. Kerrie from Pacific Rim executed the event even better than I planned; I was blown up with her level of professionalism from planning to execution stage. Not only has she secured the most photogenic seats for the party, but also coordinated jaw-dropping sushi & sashimi platters as well as deadly delicious sake-based cocktails and cheeky coasters for the holidays. I am so happy to see everyone who came and to be able to catch up before the holidays. Here's some of the highlights of the night captured by the talented John Yoo. Enjoy!

It's been ages since I posted on my blog! Time really flies these days; before you know it, it's already last month of 2015. Isn't that crazy? I literally have no time to sit down and write or read other blogs, so I am staying up till 4am in the morning to share a wonderful opportunity that I was fortunate to be a part of. Back in July, I was contacted by Associate Director of Integrated Marketing of Vogue Magazine to host a cocktail reception and dinner for Versace boutique opening. I met up with VP of Marketing for Versace in North America in August to find out more details about the event as well as their expectations of my involvement.
My role was to invite 10 to 15 people to the event, a guest or two for after-party dinner as well as doing "What's In My Bag" social media campaign. Although I was very honoured to be chosen one of the four hosts along with Sue Randhawa, Jessica Luxe and Lilyanne Nguyen, I had to turn this amazing opportunity down due to a conflict of interest. I was a bit devastated to deliver the news to Vogue Magazine, but thankfully, they were still willing to have me and my guests.
I can't even explain how I couldn't have been happier to be there celebrating Versace's grand opening with Vogue Magazine with my lovely guests. It was great to see such an awesome turnout, especially after months of exchanging emails; partying at the packed house with fashionable, fun and fabulous people who were happy and welcoming a new luxurious boutique's launch in Vancouver made my night unforgettable. Special thanks to Tanner Johnston, JJ Wilson, Jackie Kai Ellis, Dennis Gocer, Crystal Carson, Nick Wilson, Fran Will, Sabrina Fenster Levy and Jeremy Levy for being there supporting the event as well as Jamie, Cara and Marti for having me. Here are some highlights of last night. Enjoy!
