Although it's breaking the hottest and warmest September in 100-something years, I am looking forward to the autumn as it's my favourite season in terms of dressing up. I'm very into nude palettes from beige to light grey for this 2012 fall. Over-sized outerwear with fitted yet stretchy leggings are great to show you're cozy yet chic.

Vancouver's very own, Amy Groves from Lizbell Agency modeled for Jeremy Laing 2013 Spring/Summer Ready-to-Wear collection at New York Fashion Week. She has already got picked up by big brands including Aritzia in Vancouver, and now she is making her way out to bigger fashion scenes like New York. I cast and fitted her for a fashion show and remember she was such a sweetheart! So glad that she is doing well making her successful career. Is she going to be the next Coco Rocha who also grew up in Vancouver and became one of the top models? I would like to see that coming.

Karen Walker Spring/Summer 2013 Collection has shown its retro-chic inspired by 50s fashion modernized with polka-dots and horse-riding style raffia hats. It immediately reminds me of Susie Lau, as known as Susie Bubble, who's one of mix-and-match masters. It was a wearable collection filled with lots of styling ideas about how to mix and match prints.

Dries Van Noten got influenced by three Asian countries for its 2012 Fall/Winter Ready-to-Wear Collection at Paris Fashion Week: Korea, Japan and China. By extracting architectural elements from each country, Dries Van Noten initiated unseen, unprecedented yet one-of-a-kind prints incorporated with rich-textured and toned-down fabrics that were not overwhelming as the most of clothes got structured, tailored and minimal silhouettes. Which is why Dries Van Noten's collection is the utmost anticipated fashion show at the upcoming 2013 Spring/Summer Paris Fashion Week.
