While I was having my favorite coffee at Starbucks, Caramel Macchiato, there was a lady in stiletto heels caught my eyes. As you may know, Vancouverites are often seen as wearing very casual attires such as yoga pants or waterproof jackets. So when I saw this lady confidently wearing 4-inch high heels, I knew immediately that she works in fashion. I got my courage up and ask to take photos of her just before she walked out of Starbucks. And yes, it turned out that she's working in the fashion industry!
All of the items she was wearing from tweeted wool coat with leather sleeves, green-and-black stripe t-shirt, black cigarette pants, leather stiletto heels to Chanel bag makes her look timelessly classic, which added with a quirky touch of the geeky-yet-studious looking horn-rimmed glasses and crimson red lips. I'm very thankful to Gina for allowing me to take photos of her. I'm hoping to see more fashionistas like her in Vancouver!

Last Wednesday I just walked in Starfish & Rose Collective which's a rad vintage store located in Gastown, Vancouver. As a vintage fan, I feel something cool about this store: the fact that it has a variety of vintage stuff from not only fashionable clothes and accessories, but also real-vintage furniture and even shells! Having all those vintage stuff well put together, it's probably one of those stores you don't want to miss when you shop or walk around Gastown. The owner Alicia, who brings all the funky and well-kept vintage clothes, is very down-to-earth, vintage-savvy and passionate. She and I had almost 2 hour-long conversation which was totally unexpected yet spontaneous with various range of topics from fashion, vintage, friends to culture! I found out more about the shop as well as that she sells her stuff on Etsy.
I didn't bring my camera so took some photos with my phone but I'd love to share some of them!

I got a new fuchsia lipstick from MAC called 'Insanely It'. I'm more like a lipstick person than
a lipgloss gal. I'd been hunting for glossy and flashy fuchsia lipsticks looking great on my lips for months
because although I have many many lipsticks on my cosmetic vanity, my lips seem like blended with
background colour whenever I go out to photo shoot for look book. So finally, I found the one
that satisfies my need. Loving the colour and texture. It's exactly what I was looking for!

I stumbled upon this amazing Vancouver-based graphic design studio, Glasfurd & Walker;
where designed many hip spots in Vancouver such as Bao Bei, L'abattoir and Meat & Bread.
They also designed for the Juice Truck and Dirty Apron which mostly located in Gastown.
